1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
1/3 cup sliced toasted almonds
enough to line bottom of a cookie sheet with sides soda crackers
Grease and line a cookie sheet with crackers.
In a pot melt butter with brown sugar, mixing thoroughly.
Boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Gently pour over crackers.
Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes. (Liquid will be over and under the crackers.)
Pour over the chocolate chips and spread. Sprinkle with sliced toasted almonds. Cool.
